Sorry for the slow response

Well what a day we had at Exeter, the inspection team (Barry Mills & Christine Caunter) got through the sheep quickly allowing to the sale to start on time. Lorna Murray didn’t have the best ring to work in due to another breed using our normal area, but she made the best of it with a few laughs along the way.

Male Champion went to Lot 69 Lottmead Hudson Shearling Ram shown by Sophie Huntley, Reserve was taken by Lot 72 Huish Jumpn Jack Flash Ram Lamb shown by Martin Pearse.

Female Champion went to Lot 82 Speccott Hazel Shearling Ewe shown by Jethro Kimber, Reserve was taken by Lot 116 Montacute Joss shown by John Case.

Overall Champion went to Lot 82 Shearling Ewe Speccott Hazel shown by Jethro Kimber
Reserve Champion Lot 69 Shearling Ram Lottmead Hudson shown by Sophie Huntley

Top price went to Lot 64 Speccott Harvey Shearling Ram & Lot 82 Speccott Hazel Shearling Ewe both making 700gns heading home with Tim Brown, Wiltshire. These prices are rumoured to be a breed record for Exeter. Other strong prices were Lot 78 Rull Green Jalfrezi Ram lamb making 520gns heading home to R&M Sweet, Exeter. Lot 69 Lottmead Hudson Shearling Ram made 480gns and heads home with Mile Northmore.

A small offering of Non MV stock which almost had a 100% clearance with only 1 not making its reserve.
