Mr Malcom Short (Orchard Flock 00017)

Once again it is with great sadness that the ZSA passes on the news that one of our founder members, Mr Malcom Short (Orchard Flock 00017) sadly passed away recently. He described his initial encounter with the breed in 1994 as “Love at first sight”. He has been a staunch supporter of the breed and the ZSA and will be greatly missed. He forged strong links with the Netherlands importing sheep and becoming a member of the NZS and was invited to judge their annual show in 1998. Once again the Orchard bloodlines have formed the foundations of many current flocks and are spread countrywide. Our condolences go to his wife Hilary and all his family. His funeral is to be held on Thursday 31st March at Chilterns Crematorium, Whielden Lane, Amersham, Bucks, HP7 0ND.
