This years north sheep event was held on the 7th of June at West Shields Farm , Tow Law , County Durham . A dry but blustery day with a tremendous turnout of people , The Zwartbles Sheep Association stand was once again kindly set up by Bob Gibson who did a fantastic job . The pure bred Zwartbles were kindly loaned by P & S Addison ( Hayberries Zwartbles ) , The crossbreds ( Zwartbles X Charollais ewe with Beltex sired lambs ) were kindly loaned by S & N Hodgson ( Halfpenny Zwartbles ) . There was lots of interest about the breed and lots of advice given to potential new Zwartbles owners . We also had plenty of existing members pop by for a chat and a catch up .
