Sale Report for Whitestone Dispersal Sale on August 8, 2020

Whitestone Zwartbles Dispersal

Saturday 8th August saw the dispersal of Faye Wilkie’s noted Whitestone flock from Aberdeen this sale was held at the end of the Zwartbles Sheep Association sale at Harrison and Hetherington Carlisle. This was topped at 1,800gns for an an aged ewe Joyfield Flawless sired by Milburn Sam and a Cynefin ewe sold back to her breeders J & N Millar Lockerbie. Next at 1,800gns was a shearling ram this time hombred Whitestone Giovanni sired by Killymallaght Enigma out of a Balchurn ewe selling to the Coquet Nook flock of E Foster North Yorkshire. Meanwhile aged ram Didcot Fjord sired by East Middle Ben Nevis out of a Didcot ewe sold to 1,300gns in a three way split to K & A Robinson Wolfclyde and Coppice Wood, C Anderson Wallridge Moor and M De Quincey Somerwood flocks. A ewe lamb Whitestone HighHopes sired by Didcot Fjord and bred out of Joyfield Flawless sold to1,400gns going home to Lockerbie with J & N Millar.
